Nuclear Proteins Dynamics Database

Publications: Publications

Over the past decade there has been a rapid increase in the use of techniques such as single particle tracking, fluorescence recovery after photo-bleaching, and fluorescence correlation spectroscopy to study molecular dynamics. To help keep track of these measurements and to analyze trends in data we compiled a database of dynamics measurements on nuclear proteins. Our intention is to further develop this database into an online resource with built in visualization and analysis tools. For now, based on feedback from others, we have decided to post our compilation online so others in the field may benefit from the work while we develop this website.

Please note that this compilation hasn't been updated since 2018 and is no way complete. If you are interested in contributing to this effort in anyway or have any feedback please reach out to Mustafa (mirm@chop.edu).

Here is a link to the excel sheet containing the data: https://www.dropbox.com/s/3be9hcckdltub2n/Molecular%20Dynamics%20Measurements.xlsx?dl=0

We also wrote a GUI in matlab to help explore the data. It has some annoying bugs still but is still useful and fun to play with. To use it
download this folder: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/yb1wo1xayuznemg/AAAHQC_sglOhhq8SAdjGPfkoa?dl=0 and then run the MDM_gui.m function and it should work, if it doesn't please let me know!
